Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Engineer at Millennium Instruments Limited (MIEPL), located in the Greater Delhi Area (HO). The Senior Sales Engineer will be tasked with mastering our product offerings, particularly #Rotork Electric, Hydraulic, and #Pneumatic Actuators, I/P Converters, Air Filter Regulators, Rotork YTC #Valve Positioners, and other valve accessories. Key responsibilities include proactive engagement in all phases of the sales process from lead generation through to sales closing, emphasizing customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.

The role of an Inside Sales Executive is to service the needs of a company's existing clients, respond to new sales inquiries and to support the activities of the external sales team. This entry level position is well suited to individuals with excellent Written and Verbal communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

1.     Receive inbound customer sales inquiries and provide quotations, product / service information, support and pricing details in response to inbound enquiries, promoting the features and benefits of the company’s products / services

2.     Receive, manage or escalate customer complaints related to the sale of the company's products / services

3.     Maintain sales statistics and records of sales performance

4.     Provide administrative support for the production of RFQs and other sales related documents

5.     Identify sales leads and escalate them to external sales staff

6.     Maintain client databases

7.     Follow up of Submitted quotations and convert them into Order

Skills

1.     Excellent organizational and administrative skills

  1. Excellent communication skills and a growing sales focus
  2. Sound product/service knowledge
  3. Excellent Knowledge of MS Excel

 

Qualifications & Experience

1.     2-3 years’ Experience in Control and Instrumentation Industry is preferred.

2.     Strong sales engineering and technical support skills.

3.     Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.

4.     Prior experience in industrial/manufacturing sales preferred.

5.     Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

6.     Familiarity with tender portals (eProcurement, GEM, Ariba, etc.) will be an advantage.
