Job Description
- Good eyesight and hearing.
- Drug-free and medically fit as per transport and company safety regulations.
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (HMV).
- Expertise in operating Transit Mixer Trucks and other heavy commercial vehicles.
- Good knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic regulations.
- Patience, discipline, and the ability to drive safely for long hours.
- Basic communication skills in Tamil for coordinating with Site Engineers, Supervisors, and Plant Staff.
- Ability to maintain trip sheets, delivery challans, logbooks, and fuel records.
- Ensure vehicle documents (RC, Insurance, Permit, Fitness Certificate, Pollution Certificate) are valid and updated.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, routine maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) to construction sites without delay or material loss.
- Maintain cleanliness of the transit mixer drum and vehicle after each trip.
- Follow all safety procedures while loading, transporting, and unloading concrete.
- Coordinate with the batching plant and site team to ensure smooth concrete delivery operations.
