Printer Service Engineer

Job description:

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Printer Service Engineer to join our technical support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting printers (inkjet, laser, dot matrix, etc.) across client locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair various types of printers and related peripherals.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose hardware and software issues related to printers.
• Provide on-site and remote support to clients.
• Maintain service logs and update job status regularly.
• Coordinate with the support team and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt and professional service.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Printer Technician or Service Engineer.
• Good understanding of printer types (HP, Canon, Epson, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• ITI/Diploma in Electronics or relevant field preferred.
• Two-wheeler and a valid driving license (preferred for field support roles).
