Executive / Asst. Manager - PLC / HMI Program Developer

Executive / Asst Manager - PLC / HMI Program Developer:

Responsible for developing, testing, commissioning, and supporting PLC, HMI, and industrial automation solutions for machine and process automation projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience in PLC programming, HMI development, system integration, troubleshooting, and site commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

PLC Programming & Automation

  • Develop, modify, debug, test, and optimize PLC programs for industrial machinery, process plants, and automation systems.
  • Design and implement machine sequences, interlocks, safety functions, diagnostics, and control strategies.
  • Perform I/O allocation, field device integration, hardware configuration, and system commissioning.
  • Configure and integrate PLC communication networks and third-party devices.

HMI Development

  • Design and develop intuitive, user-friendly HMI/SCADA interfaces.
  • Implement alarm management, trend displays, recipe handling, system diagnostics, and data logging functions.
  • Configure communication between HMI and PLC using standard industrial protocols.

Testing & Commissioning

  • Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues during installation, startup, and commissioning.
  • Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and commissioning teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide technical support during customer acceptance and production ramp-up.
  • Travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, and technical support as required.

Documentation & Quality

  • Prepare and maintain PLC software documentation, functional descriptions, I/O lists, control narratives, test procedures, and commissioning reports.
  • Maintain software version control, backups, and change management records.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and company engineering practices.

Advanced Technologies

  • Support integration of robotics, vision systems, and motion control applications.
  • Participate in Industry 4.0 and IIoT initiatives, including data acquisition, diagnostics, and remote monitoring solutions.
