Job Description
- Machine Setup: Selecting, grinding and aligning the correct drill bits, cutting tools, and fixtures (like vises or clamps) into the machine spindle.
- Operation: Manually adjusting machine controls for speed, feed rate, and depth. Guiding the drill bit into the workpiece while applying cutting fluids for lubrication.
- Quality Control: Using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, vernier calipers, and depth gauges to verify hole dimensions and tolerances.
- Maintenance: Performing routine cleaning, oiling, and basic troubleshooting of the drilling machinery.
