Job Description

  • Define Item, Bill of Material & Process routing for new products.
  • Establish manufacturing processes and assembly work instructions based on the customer’s specification and provide training to technicians.
  • Design Jigs and Fixtures to aid in the manufacturing process, especially on welding.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Define process required, study and special process or tooling requirements.
  • Follow up and evaluate processes on the production floor.
  • Develop 3D model and generate 2D flat pattern based on Customer drawing.
  • Develop VMC program to produce precision components on Solid Machining and Casting components
  • Estimate the cycle time based on 2D and 3D Drawings
  • Able to interact with designer achieve the desired output on DFM and designs limitation
  • Manage Engineering Change Request (ECR) process for NPI projects, for instance get approval from customers and DFM proposals.
  • Manage NPI project related customer documentation (drawings, specifications, test procedures, work instructions etc.).
  • Able to do technical documentation review, Creation of Process flow & PFMEA.
  • Project analysis, Communication with Customers as an expertise
