As we expand our operations, we are looking for 3 Accountants to join our Finance & Accounts team in Coimbatore.

Job SummaryWe are looking for detail-oriented and responsible Accountants with 2–3 years of experience in day-to-day accounting operations.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in Tally, accounting entries, purchase and sales entries, bank transactions, and basic accounting reconciliation.

The role will involve maintaining accurate accounting records, recording daily business transactions, handling purchase and sales entries, and supporting routine banking and finance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally.
• Record purchase invoices and purchase-related transactions.
• Record sales invoices and daily sales transactions.
• Enter cash and bank transactions accurately.
• Handle day-to-day bank-related accounting activities.
• Perform bank reconciliation and identify discrepancies.
• Maintain purchase and sales registers.
• Maintain cash book and bank book.
• Record expenses and other routine accounting transactions.
• Verify invoices, bills, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with stores and other departments for accounting-related information.
• Monitor outstanding payments and receipts.
• Assist with vendor and customer account reconciliation.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Support the Finance Manager / Accounts Head with routine accounting activities.
• Assist with month-end closing and preparation of basic financial reports.
• Ensure accounting entries are accurate, complete, and recorded on time.

Required Skills

• Essential2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Hands-on experience with Tally / Tally Prime.
• Good knowledge of purchase entries.
• Good knowledge of sales entries.
• Experience in bank and cash entries.
• Basic knowledge of bank reconciliation.
• Good understanding of day-to-day accounting operations.
• Good MS Excel skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

Preferred

• Experience in retail, FMCG, food, supermarket, or similar businesses.
• Experience handling high-volume daily transactions.
• Basic knowledge of GST and accounting compliance.
• Experience working with multiple branches or stores.
• QualificationsB.Com / M.Com / BBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
• Candidates with relevant practical accounting experience may also be considered.
