Waiter / Steward

We're looking for a friendly, attentive, and customer-focused Waiter to join our team. You'll be responsible for creating a welcoming dining environment, guiding guests through our menu, and making sure food and drinks are served quickly and correctly. The position required a 12-hour workday, with one day off per week.

Comprehensive Guide to Restaurant Service Roles

Guest Welcome and Information

• Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, seat them, and present menus.

• Answer questions about menu items, daily specials, and ingredient or allergy details.

Accurate Order Processing

• Order Taking: Take accurate food and drink orders and clearly relay them to the kitchen and bar staff (either manually or via POS systems).

Timely and Satisfactory Service Delivery

• Food & Beverage Service: Serve meals and drinks in a timely and professional manner.

• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns immediately.

Table Preparation and Resetting

• Table Maintenance: Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glassware.

• Clear plates, glasses, and silverware, and reset tables for the next guests.

Accurate Financial Transactions

• Billing & Payments: Prepare bills, handle cash or card transactions, and process payments accurately.

Adherence to Safety Regulations

• Compliance: Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and health department regulations
