VMC SETTER

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up CNC and VMC machines according to production requirements.
• Load and change tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and process sheets.
• Set machine offsets and perform trial runs.
• Ensure components meet quality standards using measuring instruments.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and coordinate with maintenance if needed.
• Maintain production records and follow daily production targets.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Work closely with operators, supervisors, and the quality team.

Requirements:

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or a related field.
• Experience in CNC/VMC machine setting.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings and measuring instruments.
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming is an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills.

Willingness to work in shifts.
