Role Overview

BES is looking for dynamic and result-oriented professionals for the position of:

Technical Sales:

Engineer / Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager / Manager

Locations: Coimbatore / Chennai / Cochin / Hosur

Employment Type: Full-Time

Openings: 2 Positions

The selected candidates will be responsible for driving technical sales, business development, customer relationship management, and market expansion across assigned territories.



 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of:
  • Industrial Vacuum Pumps, Hospital Centralized Vacuum Pumps, Dry Screw/Vane/Claw Pumps, LRVP’s, TMP, Helium Leakage Detectors & Recovery Systems
  • IE5 Blowers, Multi Disc Screw Press, Aerators, Diffusers, Screens & ETP/STP Equipment
  • Industrial Pumps – Plumbing, HVAC, Industrial Process Pumps & Special Pumps
  • Plate Heat Exchangers – All MOC, Any Mediums & Any Process (PHE)
  • Process Engineering Products & Services
  • Develop and execute territory-wise sales strategies to achieve business targets and revenue growth.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through:
  • Cold calling
  • Customer visits
  • OEM engagement
  • Industrial networking
  • Digital communication platforms
  • Build strong relationships with:
  • Key Accounts
  • Consultants
  • OEMs
  • EPC Contractors
  • Industrial End Users
  • Manage the complete sales cycle:
  • Lead generation
  • Requirement analysis
  • Technical discussions
  • Proposal preparation
  • Commercial negotiations
  • Order closure
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and convert opportunities into long-term business partnerships.
  • Provide technical support and product guidance to customers.
  • Coordinate internally with engineering, service, and application teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for:
  • Cross-selling
  • Upselling
  • Annual maintenance/service contracts
  • Repeat business development
  • Maintain accurate records of quotations, customer interactions, contracts, and commitments through CRM systems.
  • Support product presentations, technical seminars, exhibitions, trade shows, and customer training programs.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and relationship management.



Required Qualifications

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Manufacturing Engineering
  • Or equivalent technical qualification
  • MBA / Master’s in Marketing or Sales will be an added advantage.



Experience Requirements

  • 5–15 years of experience in:
  • Industrial Pumps
  • Vacuum Pumps
  • Heat Exchangers
  • Water & Wastewater Equipment
  • Process Engineering Products
  • Experience in industrial technical sales, field sales, account management, or customer-facing engineering roles.
  • Strong exposure to:
  • OEMs
  • Key Account Management
  • Industrial project sales / Service sales
  • Technical solution selling
  • Freshers with strong communication skills, learning attitude, and passion for industrial sales may also be considered for Sales Engineer roles.
