Tax PMO Analyst

Tax determination services are called by various transactional systems to determine the tax that must be paid for a transaction. Tax reporting creates mandatory reports that must be sent to tax authorities in various countries. The team supports cloud services: Vertex O’Series on Demand for tax determination and Vertex TPE for reporting (Tax Data Hub). Informatica and other middleware are used to manage the interfaces of legacy Ford systems to the cloud services. The team is very closely working with the tax systems experts in the office of tax council (OTC) to support the requirements of our global customers, both for existing applications and services, as well as for new projects (e.g. Aurora rollout, IERP).

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing Finance related activities in Tax PDO.
  • Active management of Purchase Orders, Receipts & Invoices for Tax PDO across IT & Business managed applications. 
  • Coordination with Business, Suppliers, Sourcing Teams, Controllers office and Senior Leadership on Request for Quotation & Purchase Order [PO] approval processes. 

  • Tracking of PO’s & Invoices closely with vendors & other stakeholders within Ford. 

  • Managing audit & controls processes for the applications within Tax portfolio. 

  • Provide support to monitor interface processes and work with interface teams for issues related to interface processes.

  • Provide validation support for functional testing, SIT, UAT covering major releases, production fixes and maintain a robust regression test suite.

  • Act as the point of contact for Support tickets.

Maintain and enforce S-Ox (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance and application security protocols across the tax landscape.

Core Skill Set

  • 5+ years of experience in PMO Finance Management activities, managing POs, Invoices, Receipts etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in global environment.
  • Good experience working with suppliers, Finance teams on PO related processes. 
  • Work experience/Proficiency in quality assurance & support-related activities will be an add added advantage

Desirable Skill Set

  • MBA with top notch communication skills, coordination and self-driven with a can-do attitude. 
  • Strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with cross functional senior leadership.
  • Good experience working with teams based of EU & US business teams.
