Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Service:

• Install IFB washing machines, dishwashers, microwave ovens, dryers, and other appliances.
• Diagnose and repair appliance faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and servicing.
• Attend service calls as assigned.
• Complete service jobs within the prescribed turnaround time.

Customer Service:

• Explain product usage and maintenance procedures to customers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction during every visit.
• Handle customer concerns professionally.
• Maintain a courteous and professional appearance.

Product Promotion:

Recommend IFB Descaler, Fluff Detergent, Water Filters, Covers, Stands, and other accessories where applicable.

• Explain the benefits of preventive maintenance products.
• Support AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) renewals.

Documentation:

• Update service reports through the company system/app.
• Collect customer acknowledgements after service completion.
• Maintain accurate records of spare parts used.

Compliance & Safety:

• Follow company service standards and safety guidelines.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Adhere to attendance and reporting requirements.
