Senior Engineer - MEP
The Senior Engineer – Execution – Site (MEP) is responsible for executing mechanical works at the site, including piping, equipment erection, HVAC, fire-fighting, and utility systems. The role ensures timely execution, quality control, adherence to safety standards, and coordination with other departments and contractors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES
Execute site-level mechanical works including erection of equipment, pipelines, ducting, fire-fighting systems, etc. Supervise subcontractors and site teams to ensure work progress as per schedule and standards. |
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and layout plans. Conduct stage-wise inspections, testing, and installation verification as per QA/QC guidelines. |
Ensure availability of required resources (materials, tools, manpower, equipment) for uninterrupted execution. Maintain site documentation such as daily progress reports, inspection logs, and material tracking. |
Coordinate with procurement for timely material delivery and with design teams for technical clarifications. Monitor contractor performance and raise flags on deviations or non-conformities. |
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and participate in safety audits and tool-box talks. Support commissioning activities and assist in resolving punch points during handover |
