Senior Engineer - Vehicle Chassis and Systems

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Perform system design calculations related to vehicle dynamics and component performance.
• Execute fastener design and validation calculations to ensure structural integrity.
• Conduct benchmarking studies and cascade system-level targets to sub-components.
• Prepare and maintain DVP and DFMEA.
• Coordinate with CAE teams for design optimization, simulation correlation, and performance validation.
• Review and approve supplier and in-house drawings in line with design standards.
• Ensure technical feasibility and manufacturing readiness in collaboration with suppliers.
• Interface with the material management team for smooth development and procurement of components.
• Develop and conduct rig testing as per DVP to establish durability and reliability.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of development and field issues.
• Drive cost optimization and weight reduction initiatives across systems.
• Prepare and analyze tolerance stack-ups to ensure proper fit, function, and manufacturability.

B.E/B.tech (Mechanical Engineering)
