We are looking for a Senior Director of Operational Excellence to join our Content Operations team in Chennai. This is an amazing opportunity to provide enterprise leadership to drive operational excellence across content operations by improving quality, scalability, speed, and cost efficiency. Lead transformation initiatives, embed continuous improvement, and modernise operations through data, automation, and digital innovation

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• At least 18 years of experience in operational excellence, transformation, or content operations leadership
• Experience leading large‑scale transformation in publishing, media, data, or technology environments
• Strong knowledge of content lifecycle, digital publishing, and metadata workflows
• Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile (Black Belt certification preferred)
• Experience with AI‑enabled content or automation platforms
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s/MBA preferred

What will you be doing in this role?

• Define and execute the Operational Excellence strategy aligned to enterprise goals.
• Lead cross‑functional, global teams and build strong operational capability.
• Drive process optimization using Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and data‑driven insights.
• Champion automation, AI, and digital tools to improve productivity and quality.
• Lead change management and align senior stakeholders across functions.
• Establish governance, risk controls, and performance metrics (KPIs, SLAs).

Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.  

This is a hybrid position working in the office & home as per business need.
