Senior Compositing Artist

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Compositing Artist to join our VFX team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in creating high-quality composites by integrating live-action footage, CG elements, effects, matte paintings, and other visual elements seamlessly.

The candidate should have a strong eye for detail, color, lighting, perspective, and realism, along with the ability to handle shots independently from start to finish.

• Key ResponsibilitiesCreate high-quality 2D and VFX composites for films, OTT content, advertisements, and other video projects.
• Integrate CG, live-action footage, matte paintings, stock footage, and VFX elements seamlessly.
• Perform keying, rotoscoping, tracking, camera tracking, paint, cleanup, and color correction as required.
• Work on green-screen/blue-screen compositing and edge refinement.
• Create realistic integration of lighting, shadows, reflections, depth, atmosphere, and color.
• Handle complex shots and troubleshoot compositing issues independently.
• Maintain consistency in color, exposure, grain, sharpness, and overall visual quality across shots.
• Work closely with VFX Supervisors, Team Leads, 3D Artists, Roto Artists, and other departments.
• Follow project briefs, technical specifications, and production pipelines.
• Review feedback and make revisions within project deadlines.
• Ensure proper file organization, naming conventions, and delivery of final shots.
• Provide guidance and support to junior compositors when required.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Nuke is mandatory.
• Good understanding of compositing techniques and VFX workflows.
• Strong skills in keying, rotoscoping, tracking, paint, color correction, and CG integration.
• Good understanding of lighting, color theory, perspective, depth, and image composition.
• Ability to create realistic and seamless composites.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple shots/projects.
• Preferred SkillsExperience with Silhouette, Mocha, Photoshop, or After Effects.
• Basic understanding of 3D and CG workflows.
• Experience working on film, OTT, advertising, or high-end VFX projects.
• Knowledge of ACES/linear workflow, color management, and render passes.
