Job Description
- Key Responsibilities1. Financial AccountingMaintain complete books of accounts in accordance with accounting principles.
- Record daily financial transactions accurately.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Review journal entries and ledger postings.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
- Monitor general ledger accuracy.
- Prepare trial balance, Profit & Loss Account, and Balance Sheet.
- 2. Dealership AccountingAccount for vehicle purchases from TVS Motor Company.
- Verify vehicle invoices and purchase entries.
- Reconcile OEM ledger balances.
- Monitor vehicle funding arrangements.
- Account for vehicle sales, accessories, insurance, finance commissions, and service income.
- Handle dealer incentive accounting.
- Account for warranty reimbursements.
- Monitor manufacturer credit notes and debit notes.
- Process incentive claims received from TVS.
- 3. Inventory AccountingMonitor inventory valuation.
- Reconcile vehicle inventory.
- Reconcile spare parts inventory.
- Review stock adjustments.
- Verify physical stock with accounting records.
- Monitor obsolete inventory.
- Investigate inventory variances.
