Sales Officer -Building materials industry at Chennai

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

• Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve monthly and annual sales targets for TMT steel bars.
• Develop business through dealers, distributors, builders, contractors, and engineers.
• Visit construction sites regularly to generate new business opportunities.
• Appoint new dealers and strengthen the existing dealer network.
• Build relationships with architects, structural consultants, and project engineers to increase product specification and sales.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
• Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams for timely product delivery.
• Ensure timely payment collection and maintain healthy customer accounts.
• Prepare daily call reports (DCR), sales reports, and market feedback for management. (Jobaaj)
• QualificationsBachelor's degree or Diploma in any discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in TMT steel, cement, or building materials sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Must possess a two-wheeler and a valid driving licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Chennai and nearby districts. (Jobhai)
