Resident Engineer (Software)

Job Title:Embedded Software Support Engineer (Automotive) / Resident Engineer

Experience:2 – 5 Years

Education:BE / B.Tech in Electronics, Automotive Electronics, or related field

Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Embedded Software Support Engineer to work closely with customers on automotive software systems. The role involves troubleshooting, log analysis, software flashing, and supporting software releases in vehicle environments.

• Key Responsibilities:Analyze and troubleshoot CAN communication logs
• Work on A2B communication and resolve related issues
• Support MCU and DSP software communication functions
• Perform software flashing on customer bench and vehicles
• Assist in software release activities to customers
• Support customers during software testing and collect feedback
• Collect system logs and prepare reports for internal teams
• Perform diagnostics and IVN (In-Vehicle Network) analysis
• Work closely with customer and internal teams (SID) for issue resolution
• Required Skills:Strong knowledge of CAN protocol and log analysis
• Understanding of Automotive Embedded Systems (MCU, DSP)
• Experience in A2B communication troubleshooting
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and IVN
• Hands-on experience in software flashing tools
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer-handling skills

Languages Required:Tamil, English, Hindi

• Other Requirements:Flexible to work as per customer requirements
• Willing to travel or relocate based on project needs
• Ability to maintain strong customer relationships
