We are looking for a skilled and proactive Press Tool Maker with hands-on expertise in new tool manufacturing, assembly, part proving, and team handling. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing tooling projects from development to final production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture and develop new press tools as per drawings and production requirements
• Perform tool assembly, fitting, try-outs, and troubleshooting
• Conduct part proving and ensure dimensional accuracy & quality standards
• Handle maintenance and modification of existing tools
• Coordinate with production and quality teams for smooth tool implementation
• Lead and manage tool room technicians/operators effectively
• Ensure timely completion of tooling projects with minimum downtime
• Maintain proper documentation and adherence to safety practices

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of press tools, dies, fixtures, and tool room operations
• Experience in tool assembly, spotting, and proving activities
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Leadership capability to manage and guide a team
• Experience in sheet metal / automotive / manufacturing industry preferred
