Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Payroll Processing: Calculate monthly salaries, overtime, bonuses, and deductions based on attendance and timekeeping records.
- Statutory Deductions & Filings: Manage mandatory contributions and filings, including Provident Fund (PF), Employees' State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS).
- Tax Compliance: Compute income tax on salaries, deposit timely challans, and generate annual tax documents like Form 16 for employees.
- Record Keeping & Audits: Maintain confidential employee compensation records and coordinate with internal and external auditors during compliance reviews.
- Employee Support: Serve as the primary contact to resolve salary, tax, and benefit inquiries.
- Regulatory Updates: Track changes in labor laws and update company payroll policies to prevent legal deviations
