Job Description

Technical & Machining Skills:

Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret complex technical drawings, sketches, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols. 

Machine Setup & Operation: Expertise in setting up workpieces using chucks, collets, and faceplates. Experience in performing manual turning, facing, drilling, knurling, and threading is essential. 

Speed & Feed Calculation: Calculating optimal spindle speeds, feed rates, and depth of cut for specific materials and required surface finishes. 

Tooling Selection: Knowledge of different cutting tools (e.g., high-speed steel, carbide inserts), selecting the right tool for the job, and grinding tools manually when necessary.
