HR Executive

Responsible for the full spectrum of primary HR functions including staffing, compensation & benefits and performance management, recruitment and selection, on-boarding and off-boarding activities, employee relations and communications, and general HR administration

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

A. Staffing

• Perform on-boarding and off-boarding activities
• Administer relevant documents pertaining to employees’ employment, resignation, termination, confirmation, retirement, contract renewal, certification letter and etc

B. Compensation & Benefits

• Perform monthly payroll processing and all payroll related payments which includes generating payroll reports
• Tabulation and processing of overtime payment
• Identifies, investigates and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
• Maintain and update headcount report, organization chart, overtime report
• Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law
• Generation of ESIC temporary cards for new joiners and creating & submitting monthly ESIC Challans
• Preparing monthly online ESI and EPF returns and submitting
• Preparing monthly Professional Taxes and submitting

C. Performance Management

• Assist on performance management exercise for confirmation and annual performance review

D. Recruitment & Selection

• Manage end-to-end recruitment cycle for staff and workmen category in co-ordination with site/project team & maintain the tracker for the same
• Prepare necessary documents to HOD and proceed to Singapore HQ approval for selected candidate

E. HR Administration

• Maintain P-File and ensure all personnel-related records are updated
• Update and maintain leave management
• Generate and update time attendance records
• Prepare and submission of monthly HR and Payroll Reports to Singapore HQ
• Ensure all HR practices are in compliance with local labour rules and regulations
• Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks and duties as and when assigned by Country Manager and HQ

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Construction/Engineering sector
• In-depth knowledge of labour/employment act and HR practice
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Tamil and English
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
