Graduate Engineer Trainee

Role OverviewThe Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) program is designed to onboard fresh engineering graduates and develop them into capable manufacturing professionals through a structured 12-month rotation program across key departments. GETs will be exposed to all aspects of sheet metal fabrication — design, production, quality, maintenance, and planning — with the aim of grooming future technical leaders of the organization.

• Key ResponsibilitiesComplete structured rotations through Production (Laser, Press Brake, Welding), Quality, Maintenance, and Planning departments over the 12-month training period.
• Learn and document SOPs, work instructions, and process parameters for assigned machines and manufacturing processes.
• Assist in CAD/CAM activities — prepare 2D drawings, DXF files, nesting programs, and CNC programs under supervision.
• Support quality inspection activities — learn to use measuring instruments, interpret engineering drawings, and understand GD&T.
• Participate in Kaizen and 5S improvement projects; identify improvement opportunities and present findings to management.
• Assist the production planning team in tracking job orders, preparing production schedules, and WIP reporting.
• Prepare technical reports, project presentations, and process documentation as assigned by department heads.
• Adhere to all factory safety protocols, EHS policies, and ISO 9001 quality system requirements.
