About the Role

SkyNav GPS provides GPS tracking and fleet management solutions for cars, bikes, trucks, commercial vehicles, and logistics businesses. The Service Technician will be responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting GPS tracking devices in customer vehicles. SkyNav's solutions include real-time tracking, vehicle monitoring, alerts, fleet management, and GPS hardware deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install GPS tracking devices in cars, bikes, trucks, buses, and commercial vehicles.
• Perform wiring, relay connections, ignition connections, and sensor integrations.
• Test GPS devices and ensure proper communication with the tracking platform.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, wiring, and connectivity issues.
• Conduct onsite service visits for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Configure SIM cards, GPS devices, and mobile applications.
• Support customers with GPS software usage and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain installation reports, service records, and customer documentation.
• Coordinate with the technical support team for escalated issues.
• Ensure all installations meet company quality and safety standards.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring.
• Understanding of GPS tracking devices and telematics systems.
• Ability to use electrical testing tools such as multimeters.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic mobile app and computer knowledge.
• Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel for field installations and service support.
