Job Overview

Responsible for supporting electrical maintenance activities for CNC, VMC, forging machines. Ensures smooth machine operation by assisting in electrical checks, minor repairs, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in electrical maintenance and breakdown support for CNC, VMC, forging machines.
• Check and maintain electrical panels, wiring, sensors, contactors, relays, motors, and drives.
• Help senior technicians in troubleshooting electrical faults, alarms, and interlocks.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and maintain basic PM checklists.
• Perform routine checks on control panels, limit switches, proximity sensors, and safety devices.
• Assist in installation and electrical connection of new machines.
• Follow safety rules, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and 5S practices.
• Maintain simple documentation like daily maintenance logs and service notes.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
• Understanding of motors, VFDs, control wiring, sensors, and electrical panels.
• Ability to use multimeter and basic testing tools.
• Willingness to learn CNC/VMC electrical maintenance.
• Good problem-solving attitude and teamwork.

Education & Experience

• ITI / Diploma/Engineering in Electrical / EEE
• 1–3 years experience in electrical maintenance (manufacturing industry preferred)
• C Licence is an added advantage
