Job Description
- Customer ServiceGreet customers warmly and assist them in finding suitable products.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend products accordingly.
- Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat visits.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally.
- SalesAchieve individual and store sales targets.
- Promote ongoing offers, discounts, and loyalty programs.
- Cross-sell and upsell products whenever appropriate.
- Maintain product knowledge, including fabrics, sizes, styles, and current collections.
- Store OperationsEnsure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Arrange merchandise according to visual merchandising (VM) guidelines.
- Replenish stock on shelves and display areas.
- Check price tags and ensure accurate product labeling.
- InventoryAssist in receiving new stock.
- Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies.
- Handle merchandise carefully to prevent damage or loss.
- Support stock transfers and inventory audits.
- Billing & Cash HandlingAssist customers at the billing counter when required.
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
- Ensure proper billing procedures are followed.
- Store StandardsMaintain personal grooming and wear the prescribed uniform.
- Follow opening and closing store procedures.
- Keep fitting rooms clean and organized.
- Ensure merchandise is folded and displayed neatly throughout the day.
- TeamworkWork closely with the Store Manager and team members.
- Participate in daily briefings and training sessions.
- Support colleagues during peak business hours.
- RequirementsMinimum qualification: Higher Secondary (12th Pass); Graduation preferred.
- 1–3 years of retail sales experience (garment/apparel experience preferred).
- Good communication skills in Tamil; English and Hindi are an advantage.
- Pleasant personality with a customer-focused attitude.
- Basic computer and billing/POS knowledge.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotational shifts.
