Carpentry 

1. Office Chair Maintenance • Inspect chairs for loose joints, broken wheels, or damaged upholstery. • Repair or replace faulty components. • Ensure ergonomic adjustments (height, tilt, armrest) function properly.

2. Door Maintenance (Wooden, Glass, Aluminium) • Inspect hinges, locks, handles, and frames. • Repair or replace damaged panels or fittings. • Ensure smooth opening/closing and proper alignment.

3. Windows Maintenance • Check wooden, aluminium, or glass windows for cracks, loose fittings, or damaged locks. • Repair or replace handles, hinges, and glass panes. • Ensure proper sealing against dust and water leakage.

4. Workstation Maintenance • Inspect desks, partitions, and storage units. • Repair loose joints, panels, or drawers. • Ensure workstation stability and finish.

5. Blinds Maintenance • Clean blinds regularly to remove dust. • Repair or replace damaged slats, rollers, or cords. • Ensure smooth operation of blinds.

6. Conference Table Maintenance • Inspect table joints, legs, and surface finish. • Repair scratches, dents, or loose fittings. • Polish or refinish as required.

7. Floor Carpet Maintenance • Clean carpets to remove stains, dust, and debris. • Repair or replace worn-out sections. • Ensure carpets are properly fixed and aligned.

8. Lock Repairing & Replacing • Inspect locks on doors, cabinets, and furniture. • Repair minor faults or replace defective locks. • Ensure smooth operation and security.

9. Wooden Furniture Maintenance • Inspect chairs, tables, cabinets, and shelves. • Repair cracks, loose joints, or broken parts. • Polish or refinish surfaces for durability.

10. False Ceiling Maintenance • Inspect ceiling panels for cracks, sagging, or water damage. • Replace damaged panels or supports. • Ensure proper alignment and finish.

General Responsibilities Site Preparation & Safety

• Barricade work areas and place warning signs.

• Use PPE (gloves, goggles, helmets).

• Ensure safe handling of tools and materials. Execution & Quality

• Perform carpentry tasks as per approved methods.

• Maintain proper alignment, finish, and durability.

• Ensure no damage to surrounding structures. Material & Equipment Handling

• Verify quality of wood, aluminium, glass, and fittings before use.

• Store materials properly to prevent damage.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with supervisors for daily work allocation.

• Report damages, defects, or unusual findings immediately.

• Maintain records of repairs and preventive maintenance. Helpdesk Closure Point

• All carpentry and office maintenance requests must be logged through the helpdesk system.

• Each request should be tracked until resolution.

• Once work is completed and verified, the helpdesk ticket must be closed with proper remarks and completion status.

• Preventive maintenance activities should also be recorded in the helpdesk system for accountability.
