Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service & Ordering: Greet customers warmly, explain menu options or daily specials, take orders accurately, and process payments using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Food & Beverage Preparation: Brew coffee and tea, operate espresso machines, steam milk, and prepare sandwiches, baked goods, or light meals following safety standards.
  • Cleanliness & Hygiene: Sanitize counters, tables, and equipment (such as grinders and blenders), wash utensils and service items, and sweep or mop floors.
  • Stock & Inventory: Restock display cases, refill ingredient supplies, rotate stock, and report low inventory levels to the manager.
  • Opening & Closing Duties: Help set up the cafe at the start of the day or secure the premises, balance the cash drawer, and clean up at closing.
