Role Summary

As a Starbucks Barista, you create the Starbucks Experience for customers by providing legendary customer service with prompt service, quality beverages, and a clean, comfortable environment. You represent Starbucks values through genuine connections and passion for coffee.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Connection: Engage with customers warmly, take orders, and deliver outstanding customer experiences that make them feel welcome and valued.

Beverage & Food Preparation: Prepare handcrafted beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and Frappuccinos, following Starbucks standards and recipes.

Store Operations: Maintain cleanliness, stock supplies, and follow daily operational checklists to ensure smooth workflow.

Cash Handling: Operate POS systems, process transactions accurately, and follow cash management policies.

Team Collaboration: Support fellow partners (team members) and supervisors to maintain a positive, energetic, and efficient work environment.

Product Knowledge: Stay informed about Starbucks products, coffee stories, and seasonal offerings to guide customers and enhance their experience.

Safety & Cleanliness: Follow food safety and hygiene standards as per Starbucks and FSSAI guidelines.

Qualifications

Minimum education: 10+2 / Graduate preferred

Prior experience in food service or retail is an advantage but not mandatory
