Assistant Manager (Business Development) - Estimation

  • Review tender documents, GA drawings, technical specifications, and client requirements.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for new vessel construction (hull, machinery, outfitting, electrical, and systems).
  • Estimate steel weight, equipment costs, fabrication costs, and yard overheads.
  • Coordinate with design, planning, and production departments for accurate inputs.
  • Obtain quotations from OEMs, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, bid documents, and price breakdowns.
  • Analyze risks and contingencies in shipbuilding projects.

 Ship Repair & Refit Estimation

 Study repair scope, inspection reports, and dry dock specifications.

  • Estimate costs for hull repairs, machinery overhauls, piping, electrical works, blasting and painting, and steel renewal.
  • Coordinate with vendors for repair quotes and service costs.
  • Prepare repair quotations, variation estimates, and additional work costing.
  • Support project team during execution with cost monitoring.
