Assistant Manager - Blade Production

Job Name: Assistant Manager

Your Task:

  • Overseeing the entire production process, from planning to completion.
  • Managing production schedules and resource allocation.
  • Ensuring production goals are met while maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes.
  • Monitoring production costs and implementing cost-saving strategies.
  • Ensuring product quality and safety.
  • Ensuring that production deadlines are met.
  • Estimate costs and prepare budgets.
  • Enforce health and safety precautions for employees.
  • Work with the team to plan, schedule, and perform production activities.
  • Assign daily workload to team members.
  • Develop production programs and guidelines to support company objectives.
  • Organize job trainings for team members to achieve production goals.
  • Investigate production issues and develop resolutions.
  • Determine equipment, material, and manpower requirements for project execution.
  • Monitor production activities and adjust schedules for on-time delivery.
  • Ensure that the team follows company policies and safety standards.
  • Report to upper management.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering / MBA

15–20 years of progressive experience in Wind Power Industries 

 

Skills & Competencies:

Technical & Industry-Specific Skills

  • Mechanical and Electrical Systems: Understanding of wind turbine components and maintenance.
  • Engineering & Technology: Application of engineering principles in production and maintenance.
  • Quality Control: Implementing and managing quality assurance systems.

Managerial & Operational Skills

  • Production Planning: Scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Managing operational costs and improving efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Supervising technicians, engineers, and production staff.
  • Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards.
