Job Description
- 1. Machine Operation & Line SetupSet up and calibrate assembly lines or component machinery (such as hydraulic presses, CNC machining centers, or manual hybrid packaging units) before starting a production cycle.
- Monitor equipment operations continuously to ensure components are manufactured efficiently and at full capacity.
- Utilize line-integrated traceability equipment, including QR code laser-marking systems and quality monitoring cameras, ensuring total component tracking.
- 2. Quality Control & InspectionConduct periodic visual and dimensional checks of finished parts (clutch plates, facings, or components) using precise measuring tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Identify and isolate any production defects or machine deviations instantly to minimize scrap material.
- Adhere strictly to Valeo’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and "First-Time-Right" quality principles.
- 3. Equipment Maintenance & 5SPerform routine autonomous maintenance tasks, including daily machine cleaning, lubrication checks, and reporting mechanical faults immediately to the maintenance department.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and highly structured workspace by following 5S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) on the shop floor.
- 4. Reporting & ComplianceLog hourly production outputs, material usage logs, and machine downtime data accurately onto whiteboards or digital tracking systems.
- Strictly follow plant safety guidelines, ensuring proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times to minimize near-misses and workplace incidents.
