Job Title: Academic Counselor
Company: IMMEK Softech Academy
Location: Pallavaram / Tambaram, Chennai
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Job SummaryWe are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Academic Counselor to guide students and working professionals in choosing the right IT courses based on their educational qualifications, career goals, and interests.
- Roles & ResponsibilitiesHandle incoming and outgoing calls from students and prospective candidates.
- Explain IT courses such as SAP, AWS, DevOps, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Full Stack Development.
- Understand students' career goals and recommend suitable courses.
- Follow up with leads through calls, WhatsApp, and emails.
- Convert inquiries into course registrations and admissions.
- Explain course fees, duration, syllabus, certification, and placement assistance.
- Schedule student counseling sessions and trainer demos.
- Maintain daily calling reports, follow-up reports, and admission records.
- Achieve monthly admission and registration targets.
- Coordinate with trainers and placement teams whenever required.
- Required SkillsExcellent communication and convincing skills.
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, Email).
- Ability to handle students and parents professionally.
- Target-oriented and positive attitude.
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
