Telecaller – Job Description (JD)Position:Telecaller / Tele Sales Executive

Department:Sales & Customer Support

Reporting To:Business Development Manager / Sales Manager

Job Summary:The Telecaller is responsible for making outbound calls to prospective customers and franchise leads, explaining company products and services, generating appointments, following up with leads, and supporting the sales team in achieving business targets.

  • Key Responsibilities:Lead Generation & Follow-upMake outbound calls to potential customers and franchise prospects.
  • Explain company products, services, and franchise opportunities.
  • Generate qualified leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.
  • Follow up regularly with interested prospects.
  • Maintain and update lead data in CRM or Excel sheets.
  • Customer Relationship ManagementBuild positive relationships with customers through professional communication.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide accurate information.
  • Resolve basic customer concerns and escalate issues when required.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales SupportSupport the sales team in achieving monthly targets.
  • Coordinate appointments and follow-up activities.
  • Assist in collecting required customer documents and information.
  • Track lead status and conversion progress.
  • Reporting & DocumentationMaintain daily call records and lead reports.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
  • Update customer databases and sales trackers regularly.
  • Required Skills:Good communication and convincing skills.
  • Fluency in Tamil; English and Hindi are an added advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, Email).
  • Ability to handle customer objections professionally.
  • Target-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Qualification:Any Degree / Diploma.
  • Higher Secondary (12th) candidates with relevant experience may also apply.
  • Experience:0–3 years of experience in Telecalling, Tele Sales, Customer Support, or Lead Generation.
  • Freshers with good communication skills can also apply.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Number of calls made per day.
  • Qualified leads generated.
  • Appointments fixed for the sales team.
  • Lead-to-conversion ratio.
  • Monthly target achievement.
  • Customer follow-up effectiveness.

Salary:As per company standards and experience.
