Job Description: Recruitment Manager (Automobile & Manufacturing)

Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Recruitment Manager to lead our talent acquisition efforts within the automobile and manufacturing sectors. You will be responsible for defining and executing end-to-end recruitment strategies, managing high-volume hiring pipelines, and building strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and industry partners. This role requires a leader who understands the fast-paced nature of manufacturing staffing and can effectively manage team performance to meet critical production hiring targets.Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership:Strategy Development: Design and implement aggressive sourcing strategies to attract high-quality talent for blue-collar, diploma, and engineering roles.

• Team Management: Mentor and manage a team of recruiters, ensuring high productivity, adherence to hiring timelines, and quality of output.

• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate directly with Plant HR, Production Managers, and Department Heads to identify staffing gaps, plan headcount requirements, and optimize recruitment workflows.

• Process Optimization: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle (sourcing to onboarding), continuously refining processes to improve Time-to-Fill and Cost-to-Hire metrics.

• Operational Excellence:High-Volume & Campus Hiring: Lead large-scale recruitment drives, including campus placements (ITI/Diploma/Engineering) and bulk hiring projects to support production ramp-ups.

• Multi-Channel Sourcing: Drive sourcing innovation across digital platforms (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), social media (Facebook/WhatsApp communities), and “ground-level” initiatives (job fairs, posters, community outreach).

• Client & Vendor Coordination: Build and maintain strategic relationships with ITI colleges, skill development centers, and third-party vendors to ensure a consistent pipeline of talent.

• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all hiring activities strictly adhere to statutory compliance (Labor Laws, PF/ESIC documentation, Apprenticeship Act guidelines).

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of total recruitment experience, with at least 3 years specifically in Automobile, Manufacturing, or Capital Goods staffing.

• Industry Expertise: Strong familiarity with manufacturing roles (e.g., Production Trainees, Quality Inspectors, Machine Operators, Maintenance Technicians) and the candidate profile for ITI, Diploma, and Engineering branches (Mechanical, Automobile, EEE).

• Sourcing Proficiency: Expert-level skills in using job portals and social sourcing strategies to fill mass-hiring mandates within tight deadlines.

• Soft Skills: High energy, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Management, or a related field. (Knowledge of the Apprenticeship Act and relevant Labor Laws is highly preferred).
