Electrical Maintenance Technician

Position: Electrician & Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of plant machinery and electrical equipment.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair compressors, boilers, burners and generators.
• Monitor and maintain boiler systems, including water level, electrode faults and operational issues.
• Handle maintenance of RO/DM water treatment systems and check water-related equipment.
• Attend breakdowns and identify electrical and equipment faults quickly.
• Maintain and troubleshoot coding machines and label machines.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of plant equipment and machinery.
• Check and maintain electrical panels, wiring, motors, switches and control systems.
• Support maintenance activities related to production machinery and utility equipment.
• Maintain proper maintenance records, breakdown reports and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure all electrical and maintenance activities are carried out safely and according to company procedures.
• Coordinate with the production team during machine breakdowns and maintenance activities.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and industrial maintenance.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of motors, electrical panels, wiring and control systems.
• Basic understanding of compressors, boilers, burners, generators and water-treatment equipment.
• Ability to handle preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures and electrical safety.

Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical or related field.
• Industrial maintenance experience will be an added advantage.
