Job Description
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and publish balance sheets, profit-and-loss (P&L) statements, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- General Ledger & Reconciliation: Manage the general ledger, reconcile bank accounts, and handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Tax & Compliance: Compute taxes, prepare tax returns, and ensure adherence to local laws and accounting standards (such as GAAP or IFRS).
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist management in building budgets, tracking financial variances, and forecasting cash flow.
- Auditing: Support internal and external audits by organizing financial documents and resolving discrepancies.
- Accounting Software: Proficiency in tools like QuickBooks, Tally, Xero, SAP, or Oracle.
- Spreadsheets: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables, lookups, and financial formulas).
- Analytical Abilities: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and mathematical aptitude.
- Communication: Ability to explain financial data clearly to non-finance teams or stakeholders
