Job Description – AccountantPosition: Accountant

Work Location: CA Office

Reporting To: Chartered Accountant (C/A)

• Key ResponsibilitiesHandle day-to-day office accounting and maintain proper books of accounts.
• Prepare and file GST returns, GST reconciliation, and related compliance work.
• Prepare and assist with Income Tax Returns (ITR) and income-tax-related documentation.
• Manage salary processing, including salary calculations, deductions, and payroll records.
• Maintain ledgers, vouchers, bank reconciliation, and other accounting records.
• Assist the C/A with accounting, taxation, audit, and compliance assignments.
• Coordinate with clients for collecting required accounts and tax-related documents.
• Ensure accounts and statutory records are maintained accurately and on time.
• Perform other accounting and taxation duties assigned by the Chartered Accountant.
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of GST, ITR, accounting, and payroll processing.
• Knowledge of Tally and MS Excel preferred.
• Good understanding of bookkeeping and basic taxation.
• Ability to work independently as well as under the supervision of a Chartered Accountant.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Experience1–3 years of relevant experience preferred. Freshers with good accounting and taxation knowledge may also be considered.
