Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive from the pharmaceutical industry who has worked with reputed pharmaceutical manufacturers and has hands-on experience in procurement, vendor management, rate negotiation, and supply chain coordination. The candidate should be capable of handling purchases related to finished formulations, packaging materials, and third-party manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with pharmaceutical manufacturers and vendors.
• Handle procurement activities for finished formulations, packaging materials, and other pharmaceutical requirements.
• Obtain quotations, compare rates, and negotiate commercial terms with suppliers.
• Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs).
• Follow up with manufacturers for production status, dispatch schedules, and timely deliveries.
• Coordinate with Stores, Accounts, and Sales departments for smooth material flow.
• Develop new vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
• Ensure availability of products as per business requirements.
• Maintain purchase records, quotations, vendor details, and procurement reports.
• Resolve supply-related issues and ensure uninterrupted product availability.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and alternative sourcing opportunities.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Purchase/Procurement.
• Must have worked with reputed pharmaceutical manufacturers such as Theon Pharmaceuticals, Biodeal Pharmaceuticals, Akums, Windlas, or similar pharma manufacturing companies.
• Experience in dealing with third-party manufacturers and pharmaceutical vendors.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement processes and documentation.
• Experience in vendor development and commercial negotiations.

Qualification
