Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities·

.      Manage end-to-end execution of residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects.

·      Conduct site surveys and technical feasibility assessments.

·      Prepare project layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and Bills of Quantity (BOQs).

·      Coordinate with customers, vendors, and installation teams for smooth project execution.

·      Plan project schedules and ensure timely completion within budget and timelines.

·      Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of rooftop solar systems.

·      Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety practices, and company guidelines.

·      Coordinate procurement and ensure timely availability of materials at project sites.

·      Prepare material requisitions and assist in inventory planning and management.

·      Perform installation quality checks and ensure compliance with engineering specifications.

·      Monitor project progress and submit daily and weekly progress reports.

·      Resolve on-site technical issues and provide engineering support to installation teams.

·      Coordinate with DISCOMs and relevant authorities for net metering applications, approvals, and project documentation.

·      Conduct final inspections and hand over projects to customers.

·      Maintain project documentation, drawings, completion reports, and installation records.

·      Ensure customer satisfaction and address post-installation concerns and service requirements.

·      Support the sales team with technical inputs, site assessments, and project costing when required.

·      Identify process improvements to enhance project efficiency, quality, and customer experience.

Requirements·

.      Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related disciplines.

·      1–4 years of experience in solar project execution, electrical projects, or EPC operations.

·      Knowledge of rooftop solar systems, electrical drawings, SLDs, and net metering processes.

·      Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project documentation.

·      Understanding of electrical safety standards and installation practices.

·      Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

·      Own two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.

·      Willingness to travel for site surveys and project execution activities.

·      Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
