Job Description
A Business Development Manager is the primary link between a business and its clients, responsible for driving revenue by generating leads, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. They analyse market trends and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve set sales targets.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify prospective clients through cold calls, emails, networking, and social media.
- Client Presentations: Demonstrate product or service features, clearly communicating the value proposition to address client needs.
- Negotiation & Closure: Address customer objections, negotiate pricing or contract terms, and finalize deals to meet quotas.
- Relationship Management: Build long-term trust with clients to ensure repeat business and secure referrals.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prospects, and revenue using CRM Platforms.
- Market Analysis: Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to adjust sales pitches and identify new business opportunities.
