Production Supervisor

Location: Sawardari, Pune

Job Purpose

The Production Supervisor is responsible for driving operational excellence on the shop floor. This role focuses

heavily on maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), executing strategic manpower planning,

and boosting line productivity while strictly maintaining compliance with IATF 16949 automotive quality

management standards.

Key Responsibilities

• OEE Optimization: Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by analyzing availability,

performance, and quality rates. Implement real-time corrections to minimize downtime and reduce scrap

rates.

• Manpower Planning & Allocation: Manage shift-wise skill matrices. Plan, balance, and allocate manpower

dynamically to stations based on daily production targets and takt time requirements.

• Productivity & Output Management: Drive continuous improvements (Kaizen) to enhance line productivity,

optimize cycle times, and meet aggressive shift production targets.

• IATF 16949 & Quality Compliance: Ensure absolute adherence to IATF 16949 standards. Oversee regular

first-part approval, in-process inspections, 5S standards, and maintain error-proofing (Poka-Yoke) systems.

• Downtime & Technical Troubleshooting: Partner closely with the Maintenance and Tool Room teams to

perform quick root-cause analysis for breakdowns and execute preventive maintenance schedules.

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain precision shift logs, including hourly production monitoring charts,

OEE reports, skill matrix updates, and IATF documentation requirements
