Job Description
- Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day activities on conventional machine shop floor.
- Monitor production on Lathe, Milling, Drilling, and other conventional machines.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per plan.
- Allocate work to operators and helpers.
- Maintain production records and daily reports.
- Ensure product quality as per drawings and specifications.
- Assist in machine setup and minor troubleshooting.
- Follow and enforce safety, 5S, and shop-floor discipline.
- Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance departments.
- Support senior supervisors in production planning and execution.
- Required Skills:Basic knowledge of Conventional Lathe and Milling machines.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
- Good communication and team coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in shifts.
- Preferred Candidates: ITI/Diploma Mechanical freshers with machine shop exposure
- Reporting To: Production Supervisor / Production Manager
- Industry Preference: Machine Shop, Manufacturing Industry.
