Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented AutoCAD Design Engineer specializing in layout design to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, revising, and updating detailed plant, equipment, and piping layout drawings while coordinating across multi-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed plant, equipment, and architectural/piping layout drawings in AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with project, civil, and mechanical teams to optimize space planning and routing.
- Prepare, revise, and update General Arrangement (GA) drawings and layouts.
- Conduct site measurements, review technical inputs, and ensure drawing standards are maintained.
- Maintain layout documentation, manage revisions, and deliver drawing packages on schedule.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D Layout & GA drawing expertise is mandatory).
- Strong understanding of layout planning, space utilization, and scale drawings.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, civil schematics, and mechanical equipment drawings.
- Familiarity with engineering codes, drawing standards, and layer management.
- Strong spatial reasoning, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
