Tandoor Cook

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of tandoori items such as kebabs, tikkas, naan, roti, and other tandoor specialties.
• Assist the senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure consistency in food taste, quality, and presentation.
• Prepare ingredients and marinades as per recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the tandoor section.
• Follow food safety and kitchen sanitation standards.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor about inventory requirements.
• Work efficiently during busy service hours while maintaining quality.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Tandoori Cook or Commi 3 in a restaurant or hotel.
• Knowledge of tandoor cooking techniques and food preparation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
