These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.
Job Description & Summary:
In this role, you will work closely with software developers, system administrators, and other IT professionals to streamline workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and improve the overall deployment process. Your responsibilities will include managing cloud services, configuring and monitoring infrastructure, and implementing automation tools to support our software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management, Budgeting & Cost Control
2. Government Finance, Public Financial Systems, e-Governance
3. Accounting, Auditing & Financial Reporting
4. Compliance, Taxation & Regulatory Framework
5. ERP/IFMS Systems, Financial Process Optimization
Mandatory skill sets:
1. Lead end-to-end implementation of Finance & Accounts modules for Public Sector
2. Drive functional design and rollout of accounting, budgeting, taxation, revenue, treasury, and financial reporting systems
3. Leverage CA expertise to ensure compliance with government accounting standards, audit norms, and statutory regulations
4. Work with Client to understand and optimize finance processes of client
5. Lead Financial Process Re-engineering (BPR) to improve transparency, efficiency, and control frameworks
6. Oversee requirement gathering, functional specifications, system configuration, UAT, and go-live support
7. Ensure development of module having strong financial controls, audit readiness, and reconciliation processes within the system
8. Support capacity building and training for finance teams to enable adoption of digital financial systems
Preferred skill sets:
CA mandatory
8+ years of experience
5+ years in e-Governance / Government projects
Strong understanding of accounting, budgeting, taxation, treasury, audit, compliance, and financial reporting
Years of experience required:
8+ years of professional experience.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
5+ Years of e-Governance project experience
Education qualification:
1. BCOM / MCOM / MBA from reputed institute.
2. Certified Chartered Accountant
3. Knowledge of Odia Language will be added advantage.
