Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager who will primarily be responsible for arranging and managing trucks for raw material procurement and finished goods dispatch.

The candidate will coordinate with transporters, truck owners, drivers, suppliers and customers to ensure the timely and cost-effective movement of materials.

The role will also include basic office administration and employee coordination responsibilities.

• Key ResponsibilitiesLogistics & Truck Management – Primary ResponsibilityArrange trucks on a daily basis for transportation of raw materials from suppliers to the plant.
• Arrange trucks for dispatch of finished goods to customers.
• Maintain a reliable network of truck owners and transporters.
• Negotiate and finalize freight rates with transporters.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding raw material pickup schedules.
• Coordinate with customers regarding finished-goods delivery schedules.
• Plan truck placement according to daily material requirements and dispatch plans.
• Coordinate with drivers and transporters for timely truck reporting.
• Track trucks from pickup/loading until delivery.
• Maintain daily records of:

• Freight rate
• Loading and delivery status
• Coordinate loading and unloading activities.
• Verify transporter bills against agreed freight rates and actual trips.
• Maintain transporter-wise freight records and outstanding payments.
• Handle transportation delays, vehicle breakdowns and delivery-related issues.
• Ensure minimum transportation delays and efficient truck utilization.
• Maintain proper documentation for all inward and outward material movement.
• Coordinate e-way bills and other required dispatch documents.
• Raw Material LogisticsCoordinate daily truck requirements based on raw material demand.
• Arrange vehicles from different supplier locations.
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of raw materials to the plant.
• Coordinate with suppliers and plant staff regarding vehicle arrival and unloading.
• Maintain records of raw material received against each vehicle.
• Finished Goods LogisticsArrange vehicles according to customer dispatch requirements.
• Coordinate loading and dispatch of finished goods.
• Ensure vehicles reach customers as per the agreed delivery schedule.
• Track deliveries and obtain delivery confirmation.
• Coordinate with customers in case of delays or delivery issues.
• Office Administration – Secondary ResponsibilityHandle routine office administration.
• Maintain basic office records and documentation.
• Coordinate with office vendors and service providers.
• Maintain employee attendance and basic employee records.
• Collect daily/weekly reports from site employees.
• Coordinate communication between office and site teams.
• Assist management with routine administrative and HR-related activities.
• Support recruitment, joining formalities and employee documentation when required.

• Able to arrange vehicles at short notice
• Good knowledge of freight rates and transportation costs
• Comfortable coordinating with drivers, suppliers and customers
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel
• Responsible, proactive and organized
• Able to work independently and handle pressure
• Willing to coordinate logistics outside normal office hours when urgent dispatches require it

Important: The primary responsibility of this position is arranging trucks for raw material pickup and finished goods dispatch. Office administration and employee coordination are secondary responsibilities.
