Solar Sales Manager

Experience: 3–5+ years in Solar Industry

Role: We are looking for an experienced Solar Sales Manager with strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems and proven sales experience. The candidate will independently drive rooftop solar sales, generate leads through marketing initiatives, and manage while managing and training a team of field sales executives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales of rooftop solar and solar energy solutions and achieve sales targets.
• Handle customer meetings, understand requirements, provide suitable technical solutions and close deals.
• Possess strong practical knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, hybrid systems, batteries, electrical protection, wiring, earthing and basic system sizing.
• Confidently handle technical queries from customers and guide the sales team.
• Train, supervise and motivate field sales executives and improve their sales performance.
• Coordinate with survey, installation and office teams for smooth execution of projects.
• Independently manage the sales function with minimum supervision.

Candidate Profile

• 3–5+ years of relevant experience in the solar industry, preferably residential solar.
• Strong technical understanding combined with good sales and customer-handling skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead, train and manage a field sales team.
• Self-driven, target-oriented and capable of working independently.
• Willingness to travel locally for customer meetings and site visits.

Compensation: Salary + performance-based incentives, based on experience and capability.
