Job Summary


We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused HVAC Sales Engineer to expand our market presence and drive business growth. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, generating inquiries, preparing techno-commercial proposals, and developing strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders. The ideal candidate should possess both technical HVAC knowledge and strong sales capabilities.


Key Responsibilities


- Generate new business opportunities through direct customer interaction, market visits, and networking activities.

- Develop and maintain relationships with consultants, architects, builders, contractors, industries, and corporate clients.

- Understand project requirements and recommend suitable HVAC solutions based on technical and commercial feasibility.

- Prepare quotations, techno-commercial offers, tender documents, and project proposals.

- Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers and consultants.

- Coordinate with estimation, design, and project execution teams for accurate solution development.

- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and ongoing projects to maximize conversion rates.

- Negotiate commercial terms and finalize orders while maintaining profitability targets.

- Track project pipelines and maintain accurate sales records in company reporting systems.

- Ensure timely collection of payments and support customer service activities whenever required.

- Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and promotional activities to strengthen brand visibility.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging HVAC technologies.


Required Qualifications & Skills


Education


- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline.


Experience


- 1–5 years of experience in HVAC Sales, Technical Sales, Business Development, or Project Sales.

- Fresh candidates with strong communication skills and technical understanding may also apply.


Technical Knowledge


- Knowledge of HVAC systems including:

 - VRF/VRV Systems

 - Chillers

 - AHU & FCU Systems

 - Ventilation Systems

 - Ducting Solutions

 - Packaged & Ductable Air Conditioning Systems

 - HVAC Controls and Energy-Efficient Solutions


Skills & Competencies


- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent negotiation and client-handling abilities.

- Ability to understand technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs.

- Good presentation and proposal preparation skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Target-oriented approach with strong business acumen.

- Willingness to travel within assigned territories.
